FlickyPlots is a hackathon project designed to explore the intersection of culture, location, and artificial intelligence. By leveraging Qloo's cultural data API, we identify movies and their real-world filming locations. These are then plotted on an interactive map using the Google Maps Platform.
The magic happens when you click on a location. We use Google's Gemini AI to generate a unique, cinematic "travelers experience" inviting you to "imagine" being on location, turning a simple map into a creative discovery tool for movie lovers and travelers alike.
